Your POS knows the order. It doesn’t know the room.

Reservation, kitchen, and labor systems each hold one slice of the shift. Nothing holds the floor itself, so the manager becomes the human integration layer: walking the room, reading tables, filling the gap between what the software says and what is actually happening. Maître’d replaces that stitching with a sensing system built for the dining room.

Cameras read the room. The video never leaves it.

We mount a small number of cameras in the ceiling of each dining room and wire them to a single computer in your back office. That computer turns what the cameras see into table state, then reads it against your POS, reservation, and kitchen systems. Who is working which section comes from your schedule, not from the cameras.

What we install

A few ceiling cameras per dining room and one computer in the back office. Nothing on the tables, nothing your staff carries, nothing new for them to remember to do.

What it reads

Tables, not faces. It can tell that a server approached table 14 and that nobody has been back since. It does not know which server, and it does not track individuals.

What leaves the building

Table state, and nothing else. Seated, greeted, cleared, ready. The video is processed on the computer in your back office and is never stored or sent anywhere.

It starts as a copilot. It becomes a shift manager.

Every location begins in shadow mode, watching and reporting only. Switching it live changes the timing, not the judgment. The same reads reach your manager during the shift, while the table can still be recovered. As the floor data proves out, Maître’d takes on more of the loop.
